Ubiquo Categories Plugin Documentation

UbiquoCategories

========

This plugin adds categorization and tagging support to ubiquo

Example

=

In your model:

  categorized_with :city

In your form:

  <%= form.category_selector :city %>

Create a dictionary:

CategorySet.create(:key => ‘cities’, :categories => [‘Barcelona’, ‘Tokyo’])

The ‘cities’ dictionary will be displayed as a selector in your form with the categories you created.

Searches

==

You can search directly using an automatically defined named scope:

  class Example < ActiveRecord::Base
    categorized_with :city
  end

  Example.with_cities_in 'list', 'of', 'cities'

If you want to use the conditions hash directly you can also obtain it

  Example.category_conditions_for :city, ['list', 'of', 'cities']
